Pinot Noir 2016
Spanish Springs Vineyard is a unique vineyard sitting approximately 2 miles inland from Pismo Beach California. The close proximity to the Pacific Ocean keep this vineyard on the cool side all summer long. Coupled with well drained limestone rich soil, this is an ideal vineyard for Pinot Noir. Our 2016 Vintage was harvest on September 15, 2016 and fermented for 9 days in open-top bins. Aromatically, this unctuous Pinot Noir is driven with black and red fruits laden with spice and French oak notes. The palate is rich, with alluring vibrant acidity. The flavor profile consists of dark raspberry, cinnamon, with a sweet oaky finish. Pair this lovely Pinot Noir with roast or grilled pork dishes or kick back with casual barbeque.
